ROYAL FAMILY members are an exciting sight for many people around the world and therefore when they attend glittering premieres and other events, they can prove a real draw. Prince William and Kate, Duchess of Cambridge, attracted worldwide attention after attending the No Time to Die premiere on Tuesday, but what other impressive royal attendances to premieres have taken place in the past?

Film premieres are a glittering attraction to many around the world, but it turns out the Royal Family is not exempt from these spectres. The royals have rubbed shoulders with many people of influence, but they are no stranger to meeting their favourite film stars while attending movie premieres. Express.co.uk has compiled a gallery of the most impressive royal attendees at premieres over the past few decades.
The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge made an unforgettable entrance at the UK premiere of the latest James Bond film on Tuesday, September 28.
Kate impressed people around the globe in her gorgeous gold-sequined cape gown.
The dress, from designer Jenny Packham, included a sheer and sultry embellished overlay.
She also wore classic nude pumps from Aquazzura and matching gold statement earrings.
Prince William looked dapper in a classic black tuxedo, as did his father who attended with Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall.

James Bond premieres have been a particular hit with the Windsors.
Princess Diana attended the premieres of For Your Eyes Only, A View To A Kill and The Living Daylights in 1981, 1985 and 1987 respectively.
Kate’s gown at the No Time to Die premiere bore a striking resemblance to the impressive dress worn by Diana, Princess of Wales to the 1985 premiere.
The eye-catching silver dress from Bruce Oldfield was similar in style to Kate's gold Jenny Packham dress.
Princess Diana sat next to Roger Moore at the 007 premiere in 1981 and the star presented Diana with a solid gold version of the 007 digital watch which played the James Bond theme at the touch of a button.
The Queen also attended a James Bond premiere in 1967 when she went to see You Only Live Twice starring Sean Connery and Diane Cilento.
Prince Harry, his brother and sister-in-law were in attendance at the world premiere of Spectre at the Royal Albert Hall in 2015.
Princess Diana was an attendee at 1492 - Conquest of Paradise in Leicester Square in 1992 as well.
The Queen’s late sister, Princess Margaret also enjoyed attending film premieres.
She famously took a dislike to Elizabeth Taylor when she met her husband Richard Burton in 1967.
But this was not the first entertainment star she met having attended the Hamlet premiere in 1953 and The Key premiere where she met Sophia Loren in 1958.
Princess Margaret attended the premiere of Help! at the London Pavilion in 1965 with her first husband the Earl of Snowdon - during which she met the Beatles.
But all of these premieres were not the first attended by the Queen’s sister - with King George VI, the Queen Mother, the then-Princess Elizabeth and Margaret attending the premiere of A Matter of Life and Death in 1946.

The Queen's mother was another film fan, attending many premieres over the years before her death in 2002.
Queen Elizabeth, the Queen Mother, attended a premiere of 84 Charing Cross Road in London in 1987.
She also went to the premiere of David Lean’s A Passage to India with Princess Diana and Princess Anne in 1985.
The Queen, Prince Philip and Princess Anne enjoyed Murder on the Orient Express on Shaftesbury Avenue in 1974.
This was far from the Queen and Prince Philip’s first movie premiere together - before they were married, the couple attended The Lady With A Lamp premiere at the Warner Theatre in London in 1951.
The Queen later met Barbara Streisand at the film premiere of Funny Lady in 1975 and she also met Julie Christie and Warren Beatty at the Born Free premiere in 1966.
Members of the Royal Family still enjoy attending film screenings with many of the younger royals having attended these glitzy events in recent years.
Prince Harry and Meghan, Duchess of Sussex, attending the European premiere of The Lion King in 2019 where they met pop princess Beyonce.
Sarah, Duchess of York, went to The Young Victoria premiere in 2009 with her daughters Princess Eugenie and Princess Beatrice.
The Cambridges were spotted at the War Horse premiere in 2012, and Prince Charles and Camilla attended the world premiere for The Second Best Exotic Marigold Hotel in 2015.
