Princess Kate’s brother James Middleton sets record straight in new message
James Middleton sent a new message to his followers this week.

James Middleton sent a new message to his followers, sharing an update on social media. The Princess of Wales’s younger brother took to his official Instagram account to share a new post and wish everyone a Happy Easter.
He explained that he took a short break from the platform during Lent. The 38-year-old began his message: “We are back. Many of you have been asking if I am ok.
“I have been absent from social media for a while. The truth is, this Lent I decided to give up social media (and it was wonderful).”

James then explained how social media can sometimes put unneeded pressure on people, as he shared a glimpse of his family holidays on Easter.
He said: “Sometimes we don’t fully realise the pressure social media puts on us until we take a step back.
“If I could offer one piece of advice for 2026, it would be to try it yourself; a week, a month, or even longer…”
He added: “Anyhow… we’re back! Alizée, Inigo, the dogs, and I are wishing you all a very Happy Easter and thank you for checking in on me.”
Alongside the update, James shared a series of snaps from the Easter weekend, including his wife and his two-year-old son.
One of the snaps featured James and Princess Catherine’s mother holding her grandson.
She was also seen holding a copy of The Tale of Benjamin Bunny by Beatrix Potter.
