Sarah Ferguson has allegedly “made it very clear” to those closest to her that she will not be going to the United States in the future, following her latest humiliation. The former Duchess of York has now lost her titles and her home after extensive details about her connection to convicted paedophile Jeffrey Epstein emerged when the explosive Epstein files were released by the US Department of Justice.

While being mentioned in the files does not indicate wrongdoing, Fergie’s links to the sex offender contributed to her recent fall from grace, with several of her charities severing ties with her. The former duchess’s career also appears to be in tatters with no future, as publishers appear to be reluctant to work with her.

Fergie has not been seen in public since last year, while her next moves, a possible bombshell memoir or tell-all TV interview, have been at the centre of discussions among royal watchers.

Now, a source has claimed amid the latest speculation that the Duchess will unlikely ever return to America as she “fears scrutiny” from Epstein’s victims and being made to testify about him.

It comes after last month, a US lawmaker wrote to Fergie, urging her to testify before the US Congress, as per the Mirror.

Congressman Suhas Subramanyam, a member of the House Oversight Committee investigating the handling of Epstein's prosecution, has now said that Sarah should consider giving evidence.

He said: “Sarah Ferguson should give sworn testimony to our committee.”

But sources dismissed any such prospect, telling the outlet she “has made it very clear to those closest to her that she will not go to the USA again”.

Ms Ferguson’s whereabouts remain unknown.
