Hope Harry's not watching! William pictured in military dress in Queen's birthday message
THE QUEEN marked Prince William's important day by sharing a public message on social media.

The Queen has publicly wished her grandson and heir Prince William a happy birthday, as the Duke of Cambridge turns 39 today. The message was shared on Twitter via the Royal Family account - which represents Her Majesty and all the working members of the Firm who don't have their own social media handle.
It read: "Wishing The Duke of Cambridge a very Happy Birthday today! Happy Birthday HRH"
The message was also accompanied by four pictures of Prince William taken in recent years.
The first shows the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge with their three children watching the Trooping the Colour parade from the balcony of Buckingham Palace in 2019.
The second was taken during the Cambridges' tour to Scotland earlier this year, and depicts the Duke wearing a racing outfit.

The third snap shows Prince William and Kate laughing during an engagement in Scotland.
The fourth picture added to the birthday message is the oldest one, taken at 2018 in Sandhurst.
During that engagement, Prince William was representing the Queen as the reviewing officer during The Sovereign's Parade.
To carry out this duty, the Duke - whose graduation from Sandhurst took place in 2006 - wore a military uniform.

After becoming an officer cadet at Sandhurst, Prince William went on training in the Royal Navy and RAF.
After completing his training, he joined the RAF's Search and Rescue Force.
In 2012, he was deployed to the Falkland Islands for a six-week tour.
While he stepped down as a RAF pilot in 2013, he was promoted Major of the Army, Lieutenant Commander of the Navy and RAF's Squadron Leader in January 2016.
He has also been bestowed several honorary military titles - including Canadian Ranger, Honorary Air Commandant of RAF Coningsby and Colonel of the Irish Guards.
The Royal Family's account's nod to Prince William's role in the military comes a few months after the Queen announced she had asked Prince Harry to return all his honorary military titles, given he and Meghan had confirmed they had no intention to return into the royal fold one year after their decision to step down as senior members of the Firm.
Prince Harry was believed to be hurt by this move, given his commitment to the military and veteran community.
While he lost his three honorary military titles, and with them the possibility to wear a uniform during official royal ceremonies, he retained the ranks and honours he gained while in the Army.
The Queen was joined by Prince Charles and Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall, in her public birthday wishes for Prince William.
The Prince of Wales and the Duchess shared on their Twitter and Instagram account two photographs and a message for the Duke of Cambridge.
The message read: "A very Happy Birthday to The Duke of Cambridge!"
This was accompanied by a rare black-and-white picture of Prince Charles holding his firstborn on his lap.
Camilla's bond with the Duke was represented in another picture, in which she smiles at Prince William during a joint public appearance with Prince Charles.
Prince William was last seen in public on Sunday, when he stepped out of his home in Norfolk to mark the beginning of Run Sandringham, a charity half-marathon.
The Duke of Cambridge was accompanied by his eldest children Prince George and Princess Charlotte.
