The Duke and the Duchess of Sussex welcomed their firstborn son, Archie Harrison, exactly two years ago today. The couple could choose to share an official video of their baby son to mark the milestone as they did last year.
Last year’s footage, showed Archie sitting on Meghan's lap as they read a children's book together.
The video was shared by UK charity Save The Children to promote a lockdown reading campaign.
Fans of the couple have already began marking the celebration, with well-wishes pouring in on social media.
Some have opted for sharing photographs of Archie, while others simply typed heartwarming messages.
One person wrote: “It’s now past midnight sooo happy second birthday Archie!!”
Another fan added: “It's officially May 6 in Kenya. Happy 2nd birthday Archie.”
A their commenter said: “Happy birthday wee Archie!!
“You are so loved and so cherished.”
Archie, who has been living with his parents in California since their departure from the Royal Family last year, will son become a big brother to a baby girl.
He was at the centre of the Duke and the Duchess’ official announcement when they shared their pregnancy news.
Earlier this year, the couple wrote in a statement: "We can confirm that Archie is going to be a big brother.
“The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are overjoyed to be expecting their second child."
While Meghan's due date has not been confirmed, she is expected to give birth in June.
