Kate Middleton and William take part in mental health campaign
In a virtual appearance on Monday, the Duchess wore a dress that resembled a gown worn by Princess Diana in the eighties. Kate recorded a minute-long message to deliver an important message about mental health, telling listeners that it it “okay to ask” how loved ones are feeling during the coronavirus pandemic.
For the occasion, she wore a £550 red floral gown by Beulah London. The piece features a bold white collar.
Members of the audience pointed out the gown’s resemblance to one Princess Diana donned in November 1986 during a trip to Oman.
The rose red Calla shirt gown from the British brand is depicted online as evoking a “classic mood.”
The dress is made from silk crepe de chine and features cuffed ballon sleeves.
But the white cotton broderie lace collar is the centrepiece of the dress, contrasting sharply with its bright print.
The dress which is still available online and comes in sizes through 6-16, retails at £550.
To complete her look, Kate let her hair fall naturally over her shoulders.
The brand also contributes 10 percent of profits from all sales of the dress towards ending modern day slavery.
