PRINCE CHARLES has tested positive for the deadly coronavirus, Clarence House has confirmed.
Prince Charles tests positive for coronavirus
Prince Charles has tested positive for COVID-19, his office, Clarence House, has revealed today. The Prince of Wales remains "in good health" and has been displaying "mild symptoms", a spokesman added.
In a statement, Clarence House said: "The Prince of Wales has tested positive for coronavirus.
"He has been displaying mild symptoms but otherwise remains in good health and has been working from home throughout the last few days as usual."
As he is only displaying mild symptoms, Prince Charles doesn't need to be in a hospital.
The Prince of Wales is self-isolating in his home in Birkhall with his wife Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall.
The Duchess has also been tested, Clarence House said, but she doesn't have coronavirus.
The statement continued: "The Duchess of Cornwall has also been tested but does not have the virus.
"In accordance with Government and medical advice, the prince and the duchess are now self-isolating at home in Scotland.

"The tests were carried out by the NHS in Aberdeenshire where they met the criteria required for testing."
According to a source, the heir apparent started showing "mild symptoms" over the weekend, and was tested on Monday.
The test results were shared with him yesterday night.
In the meantime, the prince has spoken with both his sons, Prince William and Prince Harry, respectively in Norfolk and Canada, royal correspondent Chris Ship wrote on Twitter.
Prince Charles has been tested not only because he was showing symptoms that could be linked to COVID-19 but also because he is over 70, which means he is more at risk of contracting a more severe form of the virus than younger people.
Clarence House added that it is not known who Prince Charles got the virus from.
The statement said: "It is not possible to ascertain from whom the prince caught the virus owing to the high number of engagements he carried out in his public role during recent weeks."
