Sarah Ferguson keeps the focus on coronavirus key workers in post on Eugenie’s birthday
SARAH FERGUSON published a thank you note on social media praising not just NHS staff but also all the frontline workers trying to "keep things going in these trying times".
Coronavirus: Public send messages to NHS workers
Sarah, also known as Fergie by friends and royal fans, took to her Twitter and Instagram accounts to thank all those people risking their lives to allow Britons to carry on as normally as possible during the coronavirus pandemic. In her note, the Duchess of York didn't include only medical experts or those working in the health sectors, but also workers keeping food and essentials on the shelves, such as supermarket employees and truck drivers.
Fergie also included journalists, bank workers and mail carriers.
In her caption, Fergie only wrote "thank you."
But, as clearly stated by the note she wrote, the Duchess sent her message to "everyone who is working to keep things going in these trying times."
It isn't clear whether Fergie created the digital note - filled with red, purple and pink hearts.
The heartfelt message was deeply appreciated by social media users.
One Instagram users commented the picture saying: "All these people are doing phenomenal jobs...thank you so much".
Another said: "Yes. It’s not just the NHS, as important a part as they are playing, there are many others also.

"Everyone else needs to do their bit now and stay inside if possible."
Fergie's message of thanks comes on the same day her youngest daughter, Princess Eugenie, turns 30.
Fergie, as a proud mother, usually marks and celebrates her daughters' birthdays and milestones on social media.
However, she dedicated her first post on social media today to the coronavirus pandemic, and has yet to publically wish her daughter happy birthday.
The first member of the Royal Family to celebrate in public Eugenie's milestone birthday has been the Queen through the Royal Family's social media account.
The post read: "Wishing Princess Eugenie a very Happy Birthday!
"Her Royal Highness is The Queen's 6th grandchild. Today she turns 30."
The message included a picture taken during a Maundy Thursday service last year, attended by both Eugenie and the Queen.
Fergie isn't the only royal who has paid tribute to frontline workers of the coronavirus pandemic.
Yesterday, her daughter Eugenie took to Instagram to share messages a few Britons, who are either working or self-isolating, have sent her.
One read: "Kudos to our farmers, truck drivers, grocery employees AND our healthcare workers for exposing themselves to unselfishly take care of humankind.
"We owe them the respect they deserve!!
