Meghan Markle and Harry wanting privacy is 'nonsense' says host
Sky News Australia's Rita Panahi and the Australian Daily Telegraph’s Jonathan Moran discussed the reasons behind the Duke and Duchess of Sussex's decision to step away from the Royal Family. Ms Panahi branded reports that the couple are motivated by having a more private life as "nonsense". She added that Meghan Markle doesn't want to have the "boring" duty that comes with being a royal.
Mr Moran said: "There is a lot of good they could be doing from within the royal house and to give it up because you’re worried about a bit of privacy.
"Then Meghan is already planning her outfit to the Met Gala which is so private, I mean give me strength."
Ms Panahi replied: "It has never been about privacy.
"Let’s be honest, no one believes that, no one is buying that nonsense anymore.
