Prince Harry looks unimpressed in hilarious snaps with Boris - ‘Is he trying to hug him?’
PRINCE HARRY appeared baffled during a one-to-one meeting with Prime Minister Boris Johnson on the fringe of the UK-Africa Investment Summit, pictures show.
Prince Harry arrives at UK-Africa Investment Summit in London
Prince Harry and Mr Johnson met in private on the margins of the summit, taking place in Greenwich, London, today. The talks took place in a room upstairs at the event, without aides present from either side.
But, while the content of their discussions looks set to remain a private matter, the photocall that followed has quickly become viral thanks to Mr Johnson’s bizarre poses.
In one picture, Prince Harry looks straight ahead while the British Prime Minister opens his arms wide as if he was attempting a hug.
In another snap, the Duke of Sussex looks unimpressed, while the politician keeps his fists closed and arms wide.
Twitter users took to the social media platform to comment on the unusual and very informal snaps.
One said: “Harry is not regretting his choices at this very moment…”
Another, confused, user said: “Is he trying to hug him, is he stretching? What the actual?”
And a third made up a conversation between the pair.
They wrote, adding a made up caption to the picture: “And the albatross’s wingspan looked like this!”

Prince Harry was spotted arriving at the summit earlier today.
Buckingham Palace later revealed that the Duke attended three meetings at the request of the UK Government.
During the morning, the royal met Saadeddine Othmani, the Prime Minister of Morocco, Arthur Peter Mutharika, the President of Malawi, and Filipe Nyusi, the President of Mozambique.
The palace added: “Hosted by the UK Government, the summit brings together Heads of State and Government and senior representatives from African countries, key multilateral agencies and high-profile UK and African businesses.
“The summit will demonstrate the strength of the relationship between the UK and Africa, showcase and promote the breadth and quality of investment opportunities across Africa, and highlight the UK’s commitment to supporting economic development in Africa, including through the creation of jobs and new partnerships.”
These meetings come two days after Buckingham Palace unveiled the terms of the so-called Megxit deal, agreed by the Sussexes and the Queen.
The palace stated that, while retaining their HRH style, Meghan Markle and Prince Harry will no longer be able to use it after spring 2020.
Other terms also see the couple forbidden from taking part in any royal engagement or tour abroad on behalf of the Queen.
The statement, published on Saturday evening, read: “As agreed in this new arrangement, they understand that they are required to step back from Royal duties, including official military appointments.
“They will no longer receive public funds for Royal duties.
“With The Queen’s blessing, the Sussexes will continue to maintain their private patronages and associations.
“While they can no longer formally represent The Queen, the Sussexes have made clear that everything they do will continue to uphold the values of Her Majesty.”
The Sussexes will not use their HRH titles as they are no longer working members of the Royal Family.
On Sunday, Mr Johnson commented on the outcome of the negotiations between Meghan, Harry and senior royals.
He said: “I think the whole country will want to join in wishing them the very best for the future.”
