The Duke and Duchess of Sussex returned to Royal Family duties on Tuesday and enjoyed their visit to the London-based block. It came after they had spent six weeks away from Royal Family life over the Christmas break. The majority of their holiday was spent in Canada, with their young son Archie.
And taking to Instagram, the couple posted the update to thank those who they met on their first outing of the New Year.
It read: “Today, The Duke and Duchess of Sussex visited Canada House in London to thank the High Commissioner Janice Charette and staff for the warm hospitality during their recent stay in Canada.
“The Duke and Duchess have a strong connection to Canada.
“It’s a country The Duke of Sussex has visited many times over the years and it was also home to The Duchess for seven years before she became a member of The Royal Family.
“Thank you Canada!”
Fans lapped up the story and video which was sent to the social media website.
One wrote: “We loved having you both and Archie here over the holidays.”
Another said: “Come again! We love you in Vancouver.”
