Royal rift: ‘Worried’ Prince William has ‘been in touch’ with Harry after ITV documentary
PRINCE WILLIAM and Prince Harry “have been in touch” after the Duke of Sussex opened up about his mental health and the rift with his brother on a bombshell ITV documentary, a source has revealed.

The brothers spoke after the documentary Harry & Meghan: An African Journey aired on ITV on Sunday, a source told The Times. The source said: “They have been in touch — as family members would.” Another source close to Harry and Meghan added: “If I watched a programme and saw my sibling rather publicly and openly and honestly admitting that it has been a bit of a struggle, who would not have some compassion for their own sibling?”
These remarks come after a Kensington Palace source told the BBC William is “worried” about his brother.
The Duke of Cambridge - and second-in-line to the throne - is also said to be hoping Meghan and Harry “are all right”.
The first source who spoke to The Times said Prince Harry was experiencing an unsettled period in his life.
They continued: “This is a new chapter for the Duke of Sussex.
“He has got a new wife, a new kid, a new home and a new office and is putting together the plan to launch his own foundation.
“That is both a lot of change and evidence that they are both on very divergent paths.
“One of them has had a pre-destined path, and the other hasn’t.
“It is not surprising that in any family where you reach a new chapter, that takes a little [time] to settle back in and figure out your new routine and your new relationship as it is growing, going forward.

“He is no longer the baby brother that is across the courtyard, and the third wheel to the two of them [the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge].”
The concern was sparked by the emotional conversations Harry and Meghan had on camera with broadcaster Tom Bradby.
The Duke spoke of the rift with William, saying he will always be there for his brother and love him, but they are now “on different paths”.
Harry also said: “Part of this role and part of this job and this family being under the pressure that it’s under.
“Inevitably, you know, stuff happens.
“But we’re brothers. We’ll always be brothers.”
Meghan, on the other hand, said it has been a struggle for her to cope with the media attention while she was also adjusting to her royal role and being a newlywed and a mother.
She said: “I would say - look, any woman, especially when they are pregnant, you are really vulnerable and so that was made really challenging.
“And then when you have a newborn, you know?
“And especially as a woman it’s really, it’s really a lot.”
Meghan, almost breaking down in tears, also said not many people have asked him whether she was okay - a remark read by some commentators as a swipe at other royals.
One Palace figure has claimed that senior royals, including the Queen and Prince Charles, have “gone out of their way” to try to help Meghan feel more comfortable in the family.
The insider told the Standard: “I know that the Prince of Wales has several times reached out to Meghan.
“They get on and share a love of music too. I know he invited her to a preview of an exhibition at the palace.
“The Queen has been a source of strength too and invited them both to Balmoral where family problems are usually aired.”
