Meghan Markle criticism could lead to 'breaking point' says expert
Meghan, Duchess of Sussex, has found it difficult to cope with the attention which the unnamed source told People was on a completely “different level” to what she faced during her acting career. Despite being in the media spotlight while working as an actress on the hit US TV series Suits, Meghan has been thrush more into the public eye since becoming the Duchess of Sussex. The new mother has be targeted by trolls on social media, forcing the royals to implement a new policy for their Twitter, Facebook and Instagram accounts.
The insider said: “Meghan has struggled with the intensity of the spotlight.
“Although she is a former actress, this is on a different level.”
Meghan has also spoken about the challenges surrounding her new royal status.
Meghan and Prince Harry attended the European premiere of Disney’s latest film, The Lion King, on Sunday, where they met hit singer Pharrell Williams.
The star complimented the happy couple, saying their marriage was amazing and “significant”.
He said: “Don’t ever take that for granted but what it means in today’s climate, I just wanted to tell you it’s so significant for so many of us.

Meghan and Harry have been fighting to protect their privacy in the past months - and have been even more careful with since the birth of their firstborn, Archie Harrison Mountbatten-Windsor.
The couple kept secret the location of Archie’s birth right up until his birth certificate was released, in line with royal tradition.
And, two months later, they made his christening a completely private event, with photographers not allowed even on the premises of Windsor Castle where the event was being celebrated at St George’s Chapel.
The pair released just two pictures, one black and white depicting the happy parents and the baby and one representing the royals attending the christening, and refused to reveal any detail about the godparents.
This decision sparked the outrage from some royal fans and commentators, with many claiming it was the public’s right to have more details regarding the christening after Meghan and Harry spent £2.4m of taxpayers’ money to renovate their Frogmore Cottage.
However, the birth of Archie has brought happiness to the young couple - and may have even strengthened the bond between Meghan and Kate, Duchess of Cambridge.
Earlier reports had claimed the pair had been involved in an alleged feud which reportedly also included Prince Harry and Prince William.
However, Meghan and Kate tried to quash speculation regarding the feud by attending together the women’s singles final at Wimbledon last Saturday.
Royal commentator Victoria Arbiter believes the birth of Archie changed the dynamics between Kate and Meghan.
She said: “Babies are a great leveler.
“The minute you’re bonding over your stories and sleepless nights, suddenly all the stuff that mattered before doesn’t matter anymore.”
