Royal RIVAL: The REAL reason Donald Trump and Prince Charles may have CLASHED on UK visit
DONALD TRUMP and Prince Charles may have clashed during the US President’s meeting with the Royal Family yesterday – but what is the real reason behind their differences?

Mr Trump and the Prince of Wales are very different men, caring about vastly different things. For example, Charles is a devoted environmentalist, while the President has made many comments over the years claiming climate change is a myth. Their disagreements do not stop there, though.
Mr Trump has been known to hold a grudge against those who criticise him and Prince Charles made some thinly-veiled comments about populism and xenophobia in December 2016.
In what could be referring to Mr Trump’s ‘Muslim ban’, he lamented the persecution of minority groups.
Charles said: “We are now seeing the rise of many populist groups across the world that are increasingly aggressive to those who adhere to a minority faith.
“All of this has deeply disturbing echoes of the dark days in the Thirties.”

Meanwhile, Charles may hold a grudge against the President for dismissing an issue close to his heart.
For over 40 years, the heir to the throne has been an outspoken advocate for the environment, supporting organic farming and the fight against climate change.
In a foreword to a recent book on the topic he wrote: “I hope this modest attempt to alert a global public to the ‘wolf at the door’ will make some small contribution towards encouraging requisite action; action that must be urgently scaled up, and scaled up now.”
Mr Trump however has called climate change a “hoax” and accused climate scientists of having a “political agenda”.
Charles may well be frustrated on this issue as the leader of the free world is seemingly turning a blind eye to the climate change debate.
The Prince of Wales is not the only member of the Royal Family to have issues with the US President.
Meghan Markle, the Duchess of Sussex, called Mr Trump a “misogynist” in a 2016 interview.
On the Nightly Show with Larry Wilmore, she said: “Of course Trump is divisive. Think about just female voters alone, right?
“I think it was in 2012, the Republican Party lost the female vote by 12 points – that's a huge number.
“And with someone as misogynistic at Trump is and so vocal about it, thats a huge chunk of it.
“You're not just voting for a woman – if it's Hillary – just because she’s a woman but certainly because Trump has made it easy to see that you don’t really want that kind of world.”
In an interview with The Sun last week, Mr Trump was told of the comments, insisting it was the first time he had heard them.
In response, he said: "I didn't know that. What can I say? I didn't know that she was nasty."
He later denied these comments, despite the newspaper possessing audio where he can be heard saying this.
