Meghan Markle's half-sister Samantha MOCKED for 'sick' book about Duchess of Sussex
MEGHAN MARKLE's half-sister Samantha was mocked over her plan to release a "witty and heartfelt" book recounting her relationship with the Duchess of Sussex despite having repeatedly attacked the royal.
Meghan Markle: Expert slams Samantha for 'bilious' language
Meghan Markle's half-sister Samantha has announced plans to launch a book discussing her relationship with the Duchess of Sussex at the same time the former American actress is set to give birth to her first child. Meghan is expected to give birth any day now and the book, titled In the Shadow of a Duchess, will drop shortly after. But Samantha, who has long been estranged from her sister, has been the subject of mockery for claiming her memoir will be a "witty and heartfelt" story about their close relationship before meeting Prince Harry.
Royal commentator Angela Morland told the This Morning Show: "Samantha has written a book, she is going to publish it around the time of Meghan giving birth. It’s called In the Shadow of a Duchess.
"She says it’s witty and heartfelt – this from the woman who called her sister Cruella de Vil and said she was going to be responsible for their dad’s premature death.
"The thought that Samantha is going to write a witty and heartfelt tome on this lovely sisterhood, I don’t think so."
Ms Morland condemned Meghan's half-sister for the "toxic" language she had used to describe the Duchess of Sussex, branding her a "shallow social climber" shortly before her wedding to Prince Harry.

She continued: "I’d be interested to see what this book’s about. I don’t know if she’s any sort of writer, certainly, most of the things that come out of her mouth are pretty toxic.
"She’s university-educated and that sort of thing but some of the stuff that has come out of her mouth since Meghan’s been famous is pretty bilious."
Ms Markle promised to "hold nothing back" with her book and to "cover everything from behind the scenes that the world does not know about."
Ms Markle has see-sawed between criticising and praising the Duchess of Sussex on social media after their father Thomas Markle pulled out of walking his daughter Meghan down the aisle due to ill health and after being caught staging photos with the paparazzi for cash.
In another warning to her estranged sister, she said she would "not let Meghan skip on her merry way without the truth being revealed”.
The second part of the book will be published in July, just weeks before Meghan's birthday.
Meghan has been on maternity leave for the past month in preparation for the arrival of the Royal Baby, which is expected to be born at the end of April as per the Duchess' revelation in January. The royal told fans she was six months along during a walkabout in Birkenhead, putting her due date at the end of the month, mid-May.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex moved to their new home on the Windsor Estate, Frogmore Cottage, last week after a lengthy renovation and the split between their household from Prince William and Kate, Duchess of Cambridge.
Royal author Katie Nicholl claimed that the reason behind the relocation does not have anything to do with a “royal feud” and is instead a “no-brainer”.
She explained: "The move to Frogmore will give them much more time to be the family unit away from prying eyes.
"As much as Kensington Palace is a wonderful place, they are part of a big community there. They know that on the other side was there is the whole of London.”
