The online bookmaker originally priced the chances of twins at 66/1, in line with the biological probability, but that figure came down to 10/1 at the start of 2019 and has since shortened again.
Betway’s Alan Alger said: “There were a few rumours circling around that Meghan Markle and Price Harry were expecting twins and we went 10/1 on it happening at the start of the year.
“However, we’ve seen plenty of support on the couple welcoming two new members to their family in recent days and have had to cut the price in half to 5/1 as a result.”

A study from researchers at Vrije University Medical Centre in the Netherlands also suggests older women are more likely to have twins as they have higher levels of the follicle-stimulating hormone - prompting a “greater likelihood of having fraternal twins.”
Meghan is 37 and in the medical world, a pregnant woman over the age of 35 is classified as a “geriatric pregnancy” because as females get older the number and quality of egg cells that are produced by the ovaries declines.
Professor Roy Homburg of the university's division of reproductive medicine said the study found “women in their 30s are more likely to have twins compared to women in their 20s.”

Data came from 507 women aged 24-41 who were undergoing intrauterine insemination due to unexplained infertility or mild male infertility.
One of the key findings showed older women were more likely to prepare more than one egg per menstrual cycle.
Those patterns were strongest in women aged 35 and older and fraternal twins develop when two eggs are fertilised.
This means if older women are more likely to produce two eggs per cycle, they're also more likely to have fraternal twins, the researchers argued.
