Tattoos seem to have become more and more popular over the last few decades. But while body ink is now socially acceptable, one would think the Royal family still stayed away from the trend. But guess again, here are six Royal who have tattoos.
Lady Amelia Windsor

The 23-year-old Royal currently works as a fashion model and is considered somewhat of a trendsetter.
Lady Amelia has multiple tattoos, including one on each of her wrists, as well as a tiger on her left-hand shoulder blade.
Princess Sofia of Sweden
Before marrying into the Swedish Royal family, Princess Sofia was a reality star and a glamour model.
She tied the knot with Prince Carl Philip, who is fourth in line to the Swedish throne, in 2015 and chose to show her tattoo as she walked up the aisle.
On her big day, Royal wedding watchers could see a sun between her shoulder blades.
She also has discreet letters inked on her ankle.
Crown Prince Frederik of Denmark
Crown Prince Frederik of Denmark is the heir to the Danish throne and although his tattoos are well hidden, they have been spotted by Royal fans.
The 50-year-old future King has a shark on his calf and a tattoo on his arm that reads “pingu”.
The tattoos represent his time served in the Danish Navy and the body ink is a tradition passed down by his grandfather, King Frederik IX.
Princess Stéphanie of Monaco
Princess Stéphanie of Monaco is the youngest daughter of Grace Kelly and Rainier III, Prince of Monaco.
When her beloved mother died in a car accident in 1982, the princess reportedly grew more rebellious and had several tattoos taken.
Her tattoos include two jumping dolphins on her feet, a floral bracelet on her right wrist and a motif on her back.
Pauline Ducruet
Pauline Ducruet is the daughter of Princess Stéphanie of Monaco and followed in her mother’s footsteps by opting for tattoos.
Like her mother, Pauline has a floral motif on her wrist.
Charlotte Casiraghi
Charlotte Casiraghi is the second child of Princess Caroline of Monaco.
She was spotted attending a Gucci event where her outfit unveiled a star tattoo on her stomach.
Kate, the Duchess of Cambridge
While the future Queen of England has not had any permanent ink added to her body, the Duchess of Cambridge has taken a semi-permanent tattoo.
In February 2018, Kate received a small henna tattoo during an opening of new artist’s residence in Sunderland.
Henna is a natural dye that only lasts around one to four weeks.
