Camilla and the Queen in matching purple after balcony appearance with Monarch
CAMILLA wore a purple outfit identical to the Queen’s at an emotional Remembrance Sunday service at Westminster Abbey.
The Queen arrives for Westminster Abbey service
The Duchess of Cornwall was pictured in the outfit and matching hat just hours after she joined the Monarch on the balcony to observe a two-mile silence to mark the end of the First World War. Camilla wore black, like her mother-in-law, during a wreath-laying ceremony at the Cenotaph ay 11am on the eleventh day of the eleventh month to mark one hundred years since the end of WW1. She wore a bright purple outfit almost identical to the Queen’s hours later at a service in Westminster Abbey too.
At the earlier ceremony, the Queen was joined by Camilla and Kate, who stood at either side of her as the 92-year-old paid her respects to the soldiers who fought in the First World War.
The Queen had Meghan on the opposite balcony, with the pregnant duchess standing with the president of Germany's wife Elke Büdenbender.
Earlier in the day, the Queen and the rest of the royals joined millions of people who fell silent to remember those killed and wounded during the conflict.
The nation paid tribute to those who battled in the war and commemorated 10 years since the end of World War 1, which was the deadliest conflict in the history of the human race.
