A spokesperson for Paddy Power said: “While a Labour majority appeared to be picking up pace this morning, a well-hung parliament has turned out to be our most-backed outcome of the day and the odds continue to shorten as a result.
“That means the chances of an overall majority for either the Reds or the Blues is on the drift. Buckle up, folks. It’s going to be a long night.”
There’s also some speculation over whether Boris Johnson will be able to keep hold of his seat in Uxbridge and South Ruislip.
A spokesperson for Paddy Power added: “The PM has racked up some impressive stats in his time in charge – including for parliamentary defeats – but losing his very own seat would surely be a standout.
“We’ve seen plenty of cash on Labour to take Uxbridge & South Ruislip, though the Tories remain the favourites to do so.”
Uxbridge & South Ruislip
1/5 Conservative
3/1 Labour (in from 7/2)
50/1 Lib Dem
100/1Green
500/1 Count Binface

Betfair Exchange
Betfair Exchange Overall Majority Odds
Conservative Majority – 4/11 (72 percent chance)
No Majority – 14/5 (26 percent)
Labour Majority – 54/1 (2 percent)
Betfair Spokesperson, Sam Rosbottom said: “Since the start of the campaign, the punters have been heavily backing a Conservative Majority and earlier this week their odds were the shortest they had been in two years at 1/4.
"However, since then they have drifted out slightly to 4/11, but they still remain the firm odds-on favourites to claim a majority overnight.”
Oddschecker
According to betting firm Oddschecker, the Tories are 1/25 to take the most seats following Thursday’s vote, with Labour priced at 16/1 to oust Boris Johnson’s party.
The nearest challengers are the Liberal Democrats (500/1) and the Brexit Party (500/1).
For an overall majority, the Tories continue to hold odds-on favouritism for a Conservative majority, but in the last 24 hours, a flurry of bets have been placed on ‘no overall majority’.
The Conservatives are priced at 8/15 to obtain the majority sought after by Johnson, with no overall majority currently priced at 2/1.
A Labour majority is looking increasingly unlikely at 25/1, or to equate that into a percentage, just a 3.8 percent chance.
