Lib Dem MEPs shout 'stop Brexit' while wearing yellow 'B******s to Brexit' t-shirts in EU
LIBERAL DEMOCRAT MEPS strolled into the European Parliament building in Strasbourg on Tuesday wearing bright yellow ‘B******s to Brexit’ t-shirts, and shouted "stop Brexit" while in the chamber.

Remainer Liberal Democrat MEPs strolled into the European Parliament building in Strasbourg wearing bright yellow ‘B******s to Brexit’ t-shirts. The anti-Brexit politicians, had the words 'stop Brexit' written across the front of their tops and the words ‘B******s to Brexit’ on the backs of the t-shirts. While in the chamber, some of the Liberal Democrat MEPs were overheard shouting out the words “stop Brexit”.
The decision was criticised by Brexit Party MEP, Martin Daubney. He wrote on Twitter: “Absolute state of the Lib Dem MEPs: wearing ‘b******s to Brexit” T-shirts into EU Parliament.
“B******s to 17.4million voters is what they are saying #ChangePoliticsForGood”.
Mr Daubney also posted a video of the Lib Dem MEPs strolling to the chamber with the yellow t-shirts on.
The Brexit Party also took part in a stunt in the European Parliament chamber as MEPs turned their back on the anthem of the European Union.

The decision by the Lib Dems to wear the anti-Brexit t-shirts sparked fury among many on social media.
One said: “What an embarrassing shambles. A ludicrous bunch.”
Another added: “Ahhh how pathetic, so 17.4 million don’t matter? This country is a joke”.
A third wrote: “This is how the Libs dress. They are an embarrassment.”

But some supported the decision by the Lib Dems. One wrote online: “Absolutely fantastic! And don’t forget that as one of the bigger delegations in Renew, they will have considerably more influence in the parliament than the Brexit Party, who have no allies, sit right at the back and moan about limousines when Strasbourg is teeming with trams…”
Deputy leader of the Lib Dem MEPs, Luisa Porritt, posted a picture on social media wearing the yellow top.
She wrote: “In Strasbourg at the opening session of the European Parliament! I’m here to represent Londoners and work with my fellow @LibDems to #StopBrexit - because the UK must lead not leave the EU.”

Brexit coordinator for the European Parliament Guy Verhofstadt posted an image on social media with a Liberal Democrat MEP wearing a yellow t-shirt sat in front of him.
He wrote: “Here’s my new view in the plenary of the European Parliament!”
Posting on social media, the Liberal Democrat’s official Twitter account wrote: “After our massive success at the European elections, can you guess the number one priority for our new Lib Dem MEPs?”
Remain-backing radio presenter James O'Brien described the decision in a tweet as a “misjudgment”.
