If you take a scroll through TikTok, you’d think everyone had reverted back to wired headphones. Celebrities may be embracing the old-school wired look in 2026, but that won’t stop the might of Apple’s AirPods rolling on.

It’s hard to walk down a high street without seeing a pair of the ubiquitous white buds, which can be surprising given how expensive AirPods can get. To remedy that, Argos has reduced the latest generation AirPods 4 to just £99, down from the £119 RRP.

Argos is selling the latest AirPods 4 for £99, £20 less than the RRP.

Apple itself never directly discounts its products, so this is the cheapest you’ll find the AirPods 4 for.

AirPods 4 were released in 2024, and has Apple’s updated, more modern design, with shorter stems compared to older AirPods versions. Despite being the entry level model, these buds don’t slouch, with upgraded audio quality, as well as voice isolation for better calls and personalised spatial audio that makes sure your tunes sound as good as possible.

These AirPods are a great pick if you don’t like stuffing silicone tip earbuds into your ears. That’s what you get with the £219 AirPods Pro 3. But on the £99 AirPods 4, the buds are moulded plastic and therefore sit in the inside of your ear. It means you don’t get noise isolation, but the AirPods are very unobtrusive and can be worn for hours on end with no irritation.

The buds slip into the dinkier than ever charging case, which is small enough to fit into virtually any pocket no matter how tiny and tight. It means a fully charged pair will last five hours before you need to slot them back in the charged-up case to refuel, with a full case giving you up to 30 hours juice in all - enough for a week of use or a round the world flight.

You can track where your AirPods have got to with Apple’s handy Find My app too, so if they fall down the back of the sofa, you’ll track them down in no time.

And for runners and gym goers, the AirPods 4 are IP54 rated so they will withstand a bit of rain and sweat, so you don’t need to worry about your tech when you’re flat out.

It’s not clear how long this discount is running for, but AirPods 4 for £99 is a deal that’s not to be missed.
