Is Spotify down RECAP: Thousands of users report issues with app and website
Thousands of Spotify account holders have been left frustrated.

Spotify appears to have gone down with thousands of users reporting issues with the popular music streaming service. Several account holders have taken to the website Downdetector to report problems they are experiencing.
Reported issues on the site peaked at just over 11,500 at 5,33pm, before falling and rising again at 6.33pm. One Spotify user wrote: "The app on my laptop has crashed and the web player won't work either? Still seems okay on my phone. I've tried all of the fixes I can find, still nothing. Keeps bringing up a firewall error - when it is not - I have checked it twice." A second said: "Can't search anything. 'Something went wrong. Have another go?'" A third person commented: "Why is the search bar saying no connection? I've got perfect WiFi and tried mobile data." The Daily Express has contacted Spotfiy for comment.
