Shoppers say M&S bedding set 'feels like sheer luxury' but it won't break the bank
From mattresses to pillows, hotel rooms are often a source of inspiration for setting up our sleeping arrangements, but transforming the look of your bedroom can be as simple as changing the bedding. Waffle bedding is a great way to add texture to a space while also channelling some more upscale interiors, and we've spotted a newly launched bedding set at Marks and Spencer that a shopper says feels like "sheer luxury".
Despite being a recent addition to the retailer's collection, the Pure Cotton Large Waffle Bedding Set has already been purchased 82 times in the past five days, reports Birmingham Live.
Prices start at £35 for a single, with a double selling for £49.50, a king for £59 and a super king for £69.
The set is made from 100% cotton and embossed with a tactile, large waffle print that adds texture to a room. Each set comes with a duvet and two pillowcases (one for a single) and is machine washable, making it easy to maintain.
Shoppers can choose between a classic white or a more muted ecru shade, the retailer called "natural". Both shades can blend into any space, and their neutral tones make the perfect blank canvas for pairing with any colour cushion or throw.
M&S customers are praising the duvet set online, with many praising its texture and softness. One wrote: "This is a fabulous duvet set. The quality of the fabric is amazing- so soft - and it looks great."
Another called the set an "all round winner in quality, style and price", adding: "Deciding to update my bedding, I wanted neutral colours. This fit the bill perfectly. The fit is great, the quality is very good, and the whole set is excellent value, quality and style."
A third shopper wrote: "Feels as if I am sleeping in sheer luxury - love it and the neutral colour."
Although one shopper was a fan of the set, they pointed out that only one side has the waffle print. In their review, they said: "The waffle quilt is lovely and soft and cosy, shame only one side of the pillow has the waffle fabric."
