THE Top 10 baby names for spring have a distinctly floral feel with Daisy, Violet, Primrose and Blossom among the most popular.
Girls are more likely to be named after the season than boys
The poll of 400 new mums and dads by parental support website Emma's Diary found that Willow was the most popular name for babies born this spring, with 27 per cent of the vote.
Daisy came in second with 23 per cent and Violet was in 3rd spot with 18 per cent.
The top 10 names for boys were topped by Owen, with 29 per cent, Maxwell, 27 per cent and Neo with 13 per cent.
Faye Mingo, of Emma's Diary, said: "The results from our poll show that for girls the seasonal theme of spring has a far greater influence on the baby naming process, than for boys.
"Choosing a name is a big decision for any parent to be but it seems that girls names take the lead in this case when it comes to the changing seasons."
