Woman shares 'amazing' hack to get rid of shower sealant mould overnight
Mould can grow quickly in the sealant that runs along your shower, and it can be difficult to remove - but one woman's hack can banish it quickly.
Shower sealant mould can be a nightmare to get rid of.
Whether you have a shower, a bath, or both, you've likely got a line of silicone sealant that runs between your tub and the wall. This sealant is designed to stop water from leaking onto your floor and seeping into your walls, as it instead just sits on the surface of the silicone.
However, if you don't wipe down your sealant properly every time you wash, the water that gathers on top of it can cause mould to grow inside the silicone itself – and it can be a real pain to clean.
You often can't just wipe it away or even use common cleaning methods, as the mould is usually embedded within the silicone itself and isn't easy to get to.
But one woman on TikTok has shared one "amazing" item that could solve all your mould problems in just one night.
In a video shared by a woman named Sally, who posts under the username @sallygrace_gardening, she explained that the only product she ever uses on her sealant mould is an item called Mould Magic.
She detailed: "This is Mould Magic. It's a gel that you simply squeeze on top of the mould and it works its thing in a few hours, and then you simply just wipe it away. I will say, make sure the air is dry when you apply it. And if it's really bad, like this is, make sure you leave it overnight."
As well as tackling one section of sealant with "really bad" mould, Sally also squeezed some of the gel over another section that wasn't as bad, and said that it was cleaned up after just one hour.

For the severe mould, Sally left the product to sit overnight and returned the next morning with a "damp cloth" to wipe away the gel – and was left with sealant that looked brand new.
Mould Magic can be bought online for £12.99 for a pack of two, and reviews of the product on the website are glowing. People have said it "works wonders" on various types of mould and is "worth every penny".
And commenters on Sally's video were blown away by the hack too, with many saying they couldn't wait to get their hands on the item themselves to try it out.
One person said: "Wow that's amazing!"
And another added: "I've got some and I'm going to try it tomorrow."
While a third shared: "Despite my scepticism, this stuff is genuinely brilliant. I used it to get rid of mould in the washing machine door seal, the shower tray seal and even a roller blind in my garage!"
