And the 10-minute air fryer cookies, which are packed with hazelnut flavour and drizzled with chocolate, are sure to be a huge hit with anyone who tries them.

Posting on social media, BBC Food shared a quick tutorial for the cookies and said: "These egg-free cookies couldn't be easier - you only need four ingredients and they cook in 10 minutes in the air fryer! Perfect for when you're in desperate need of a sweet treat."

Here's everything you need to make them, which serves six.

10 minute air fryer cookies

Ingredients

  • 100g/3½oz chocolate hazelnut spread
  • 75g/2¾oz plain flour
  • 3 tbsp full-fat milk
  • 40g/1½oz chocolate, melted, to decorate

Method

  1. Preheat the air fryer to 180C. Place the chocolate spread, flour and milk in a bowl. Mix well and then, using your hands, bring together to make a firm dough.

  2. Roll the mixture into 6 evenly sized balls then flatten into cookies. Lay a sheet of baking paper in the air fryer basket then place the cookies on top, leaving a little space between each one.

  3. Air fry for 8–10 minutes then carefully lift out. Drizzle over the melted chocolate and leave to cool before serving.

If you don't have an air fryer, you can bake the cookies in the oven for 12-14 minutes instead at 200/180C Fan.
