New Toyota Corolla Saloon set to be unveiled THIS week - Here's what we know so far
THE all-new and updated Toyota Corolla will be unveiled later this week at an event in China.
Toyota will unveil the updated Corolla later this week at China's Guangzhou motor show.
The saloon version of the car all is making its debut in China on 16th November.
It will debut at the Guangzhou International Automobile Exhibition following the launch of the Hatchback and Touring Sports models.
It is based on the same TNGA modular platform that underpins the Prius and Camry and Toyota will build it at its Turkish plant alongside the C-HR crossover.
The carmaker will put the car into production and make it available to buy in early 2019.
This latest generation model will also be the first to come with a hybrid powertrain option.

The car will also not be available with a diesel engine and will come only with petrol and hybrid powertrains.
Now that the Auris has been axed in the UK, the model will be known as Corolla worldwide as Auris was derived by Corolla.
The five-door car is expected to share most of the same design language as the hatchback variant but will have the elongated rear-end.
