Hire power

Vantage Leasing

Vantage Leasing (Image: Vantage Leasing)

If you’re responsible for managing a leased fleet of vehicles, you might want to consider a finance lease option, as offered by Vantage Leasing, which specialises in prestige cars such as Land Rover and Range Rover.

With a finance lease, the end user takes on the responsibility for selling the vehicle. So instead of paying for the depreciation of the vehicle and handing the car back at the end of the contracted terms, you are responsible for what happens to the vehicle during and after the term of the lease.

This sort of deal is suitable for those who don’t like the fixed agreement of a contract hire (users can sell after a year, even in a five-year agreement) or those concerned about excess mileage charges. The product allows more flexibility and there can also be VAT savings.

Here are some of the vehicles Vantage Leasing has available:

Stop thieves

Bollard Security

Bollard Security (Image: Bollard Security)

With almost 130,000 vehicle thefts in England and Wales in 2023-24, most of us are understandably keen to avoid being the next victim. One effective solution is installing a bollard on your driveway or parking space.

Bollard Security has a range of options to suit all budgets and requirements, including fold-down posts to stop unwanted parking, or more heavy-duty, high security bollards for comprehensive vehicle protection that can be lifted up from the ground via a telescopic mechanism. Better yet, some of these can be remote controlled, and there’s a lift assisted option if the weight is an issue.

The company’s most popular telescopic bollards come with ‘sold secure’, integrated 10-pin push-button Camlock. They can be purchased in galvanised steel with a powder-coated colour of your choice, or in stainless steel with a brushed satin finish.

Bollard Security guarantees installation anywhere on mainland UK within two to five days after ordering thanks to its extensive range of stock. Installation is always carried out by its own employees.

Pump it up

Ring

Ring (Image: Ring)

Driving on under or over-inflated tyres won’t just cost you money; by increasing fuel consumption or potentially causing the tyres to wear out more quickly, it can also be a safety hazard, affecting your steering and braking distance.

That’s why it’s a good idea to check them before you set out. A handy way to do this is with Ring’s RTC4000 cordless tyre inflator. Compact yet powerful, it allows you to move around your vehicle with ease.

The backlit LED digital screen makes it easy to set the tyre pressure. It can inflate a 15in tyre from flat in under six minutes, and the auto-stop feature means it will automatically stop when the desired pressure is reached.

Should you have too much air in the tyre, a deflator valve allows you to accurately achieve the pressure you require.

The RTC4000 can be also used with motorbikes, bicycles and small inflatables.
