This month's PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium games reveal is even more anticipated than usual, possibly because there haven't been any leaks at the time of writing. Fortunately, however, Sony is about to put fans out of their misery by finally shedding light on the games joining the line-up in the month of May.

Indeed, the PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium line-up will be officially announced at 4.30pm BST UK time on the afternoon of May 13. That's 8.30am PT / 11.30 ET if you live in the US, or 5.30 CET for European fans. The games will be available to download and play from the morning of May 19, and judging by the latest predictions, Star Wars Outlaws seems almost certain to appear.

The timing for Star Wars Outlaws joining PS Plus certainly makes sense given that we just celebrated Star Wars Day on May 4.

It's nearly two years since the open-world action game made its debut, making it seem likely that it will join PS Plus sooner rather than later.

Star Wars Outlaws is also published by Ubisoft, which has consistently added its games to PS Plus, including The Crew Motorfest just last month.

It's for this very reason that fellow Ubisoft titles like Avatar Frontiers of Pandora and Assassin's Creed Shadows have also been picked by some fans to join PlayStation Plus Extra in May. The former seems more likely than the latter, but you never know.

Needless to say, multiple fans have picked the likes of Atomic Heart, Hades, Dragon's Dogma 2 and Life is Strange: Double Exposure to appear.

Final Fantasy 16 has also been showing up more and more in the PS Plus predictions thread, having launched back in 2023. How time flies!

Other games tipped to appear include Stellar Blade, Sonic Superstars, Citizen Sleeper 2 and Days Gone Remastered.

With Forza Horizon 6 joining Xbox Game Pass in May, perhaps Sony will bring out some of its own big guns, such as Helldivers 2, Gran Turismo 7, or Astro Bot.

Oh, and if you haven't already, you might want to finish the likes of Mortal Shell, Sand Land, MotoGP 25 and Soul Hackers 2, which are all leaving PS Plus Extra on May 19.

Control Ultimate Edition is also about to depart, alongside The Dark Pictures Anthology: Little Hope and Man of Medan.
