PS Plus Extra May 2026 games - All signs point to Star Wars Outlaws headling line-up
Sony is just days away from unveiling the PlayStation Plus games for May 2026.

PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium subscribers are counting down the days until the next batch of games are revealed for May 2026. Sony will announce the line-up on May 13, although the games won't actually be available to download and play until the following week, specifically on May 19. It feels like a big month for PS Plus and one in which Sony needs to pull out the stops, especially following the exceptional Xbox Game Pass line-up that was announced earlier this week. If the latest predictions are anything to go by, fans are expecting something special for May 2026.

Indeed, according to the latest predictions thread over on Reddit, Star Wars Outlaws is the overwhelming favourite to join PS Plus Extra in May 2026.
Star Wars Outlaws has received dozens of votes in the thread, with subscribers believing the month of May is the perfect time to add a Star Wars game to the service. It would have been even better if it was added as part of Star Wars Day on May 4, but we can wait another couple of weeks.
Star Wars Outlaws is an open-world action game in which players take control of an intergalactic scoundrel attempting to perform a heist.
While it has a 75% review score on Metacritic, a number of post-launch updates have improved the overall experience, giving greater gameplay variety and fixing lots of bugs.
Other games with multiple picks include fellow Ubisoft action game Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora, as well as the usual suspects of Atomic Heart and Dragon's Dogma 2.
Other games with multiple picks include Stellar Blade, Sonic Superstars, Hades, Life is Strange Double Exposure and Citizen Sleeper 2.
A couple of Final Fantasy games also make an appearance, with FF16 tipped to appear at some point, alongside high-profile sequel Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth.
In terms of first-party releases, there are picks for Helldivers 2, as well as Gran Turismo 7, Days Gone Remastered and Astro Bot.
It's worth pointing out that a number of games will also be leaving the service on May 19, including Control Ultimate Edition, Mortal Shell, Sand Land, MotoGP 25, Soul Hackers 2, The Dark Pictures Anthology: Little Hope and Man of Medan.
