Captain Marvel: Brie Larson SPEAKS OUT on shooting Avengers Endgame BEFORE her solo movie
BRIE LARSON has spoken out on shooting Avengers Endgame before Captain Marvel.
Avengers: Endgame trailer drops for saga's EPIC finale
The next MCU movie coming up is Captain Marvel set a good 20 years before the events of Avengers Infinity War and Avengers Endgame. However, Larson had to shoot the latter Marvel epic before her own solo movie even though it’s released over a month beforehand. The 29-year-old star attended Brazil Comic Con yesterday where she was asked what it was like having to start as her superhero in Avengers Endgame. Speaking with Omelete, Larson said: “It’s a little hard. It’s hard. But it was also perfect because it meant I wasn’t alone on this journey.”
The Captain Marvel star continued: “It meant that I had a playground of people who have been through this before.
“So it was more like a test round for me, I felt like.
“In between takes I got to ask people questions and I was just very open about being the new kid and wanting to be treated like the new kid, so I could learn as much as I could and take in as much information.
“Because there are things that you just don’t think about and you don’t know who to ask other than an actual superhero.”
She joked: “‘Okay, so once you start the movie when do you train? Do you train in the morning? Do you train at lunch? Do you train? Do you not train? What kind of snacks do you eat?’
“What you realise is, when you’re in the suit you’d rather have a smoothie than a burger.
“Although obviously, I ate a lot of burgers too, because I can’t help myself.
“But you have to learn different things through people and their past experience.”
Two days ago the Avengers Endgame trailer landed but there was no sign of Captain Marvel.
Nevertheless, fans theorise she will answer Nick Fury’s pager, as seen in the post-credits scene for Avengers Infinity War.
Captain Marvel will be released in UK cinemas on March 8, 2019 and will be followed by Avengers Endgame on April 26.
