Sharon Osbourne DEFENDS 'naughty' Piers Morgan amid Ewan McGregor row: 'He adores women'
PIERS MORGAN publicly slammed Ewan McGregor after he pulled out of a Good Morning Britain interview, and Sharon Osbourne has now waded in on the spat.
Sharon Osbourne insists Piers Morgan loves women
The X Factor judge insisted the presenter didn't mean what he said about the Women's March, which was the actor's reason for cancelling his appearance on the ITV show.
Appearing on US programme, The Talk, yesterday, the 64-year-old claimed Piers said what he said to spark a "reaction", however her co-stars didn't appear to be having any of it.
Sharon commented: "He says this stuff to get a reaction. I know Piers Morgan very, very well. This is what he does. He just throws things out there to get this reaction that he's getting.
"He loves the attention. Naughty Piers! I know you don’t believe what you're saying. He doesn't. He adores women."

But, fellow panellist Aisha Tyler disagreed with Sharon, saying he sounded "misogynistic".
The actress, 46, interjected: "I’m offended… I just don't think he understands American democracy and our constitutionally protected right to assemble and have free speech."
Aisha went on: "I think when he comes here, we'll explain how democracy works."
Their remarks come after Piers, 51, blasted Ewan, 45, in his Daily Mail column, calling him an "unprofessional, narrow-minded and anti-democratic twerp".
The Hollywood star had previously tweeted: "Was going on Good Morning Britain, didn't realise @piersmorgan was host. Won't go on with him after his comments about #WomensMarch."
Piers later stated: "Sorry to hear that @mcgregor_ewan - you should be big enough to allow people different political opinions. You're just an actor after all."
