The Samuel Goldwyn Estate, as it is known, has been lived in by icons such as Marlene Dietrich, Charlie Chaplin and Clark Gable.
And the Shake It Off star thinks it should be designated a heritage site. Authorities are now considering the request for the estate which includes a library, theatre and servants quarters.
The estate was built by Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer studio head Goldwyn in 1934.

After he died, the estate passed to his son, Samuel Goldwyn, Jr. When he died in 2015 it was sold to Swift for $25million.
The singer also has homes in Nashville, New York and Rhode Island.
