Carol McGiffin has revealed her sister has terminal cancer
The former Loose Women panelist has spoken out about how she has helped her sister Tracy through her treatment after she found a lump in her breast three months ago.
“I don’t think Tracy wants to know how long she has left, although the doctors could probably say. We’re in uncharted water, but she’s trying to be positive. We all are,” Carol told Best magazine.
Carol, 56, was also diagnosed with breast cancer and endured chemotherapy and radiotherapy sessions as she fought the disease.

Just earlier this year, the journalist announced she had beaten cancer after her treatment ended in December 2015.
And Carol’s sister said it appeared she was copying her older sibling.
Tracy, 53, said: “When I found a lump in my left breast this August, I actually thought ‘Here we go. I’m copying her again’. How I wish that were true.”
She will be undergoing chemotherapy once every few weeks and despite the situation, Tracy thinks it has helped her get close to her sister.

Carol McGiffin would reunite with the original Loose Women
“I know that, for once in her life, my sister would have given anything for me to have copied her. But, despite the devastating news, and for as long as I have left, we have grown closer,” she added.
The pair will now complete Tracy’s bucket list which is full of ideas and it starts with having a great Christmas.
Carol said: “Let’s just say that my Christmas wish is for my sister to have the best time ever, and to really make the most of the time she has left, because, above all, I don’t want her to have any regrets.”
