Oprah Winfrey slammed by celebrities for posting 'hopeful' Donald Trump tweet
OPRAH WINFREY was slammed online after she urged people to "have hope" after Donald Trump became the 45th president last week.

The 62-year-old took to Twitter to post a positive message after the US election results caused chaos around the world, but her comments didn't go down well at all with her fellow celebrities.
She shared a screen grab of Trump and Barack Obama, alongside the caption: "Everybody take a deep breath! #HopeLives!"
However, the likes of Patton Oswalt and Heather Matarazzo were quick to voice their opinions, with them hitting out at the much-loved TV presenter.
Patton said: "Oprah what the f***? This is not one of my favourite things."

Heather added: "Oprah, you can take a deep breath and hold it while the rest of us literally fight for our lives right now. #smh."
Grace & Frankie's June Diane Raphael also urged Oprah "not to normalise Trump".
June went on: "Minority children are already being targeted," while comedian John Early blasted: "DON'T YOU DARE OPRAH."

Celebrities aren't the only ones to have their say, with one social networker posting: "@Oprah Please stop normalizing Trump-Just because Obama is doing a classy, smooth transition does NOT excuse anything Trump has said or done."
"@Oprah We cannot instantly normalize a man who was such an offensive candidate," a second moaned.
A third wrote: "@Oprah it's insulting that you believe that one visit with Obama, Trump is now reborn. He does not care about anybody but his ego & winning."
