Big Brother's ten new housemates include Wayne Rooney's ex and a playboy bunny
WAYNE Rooney’s self-proclaimed former lover entered the Big Brother house last night as the first 10 contestants kick-started the latest show.
Helen Wood, a 27-year-old single mother from Bolton, claims to have had a fling with the Manchester United star four years ago. Rooney has never commented on the allegations.
Viewers were treated to the launch of the Channel 5 show yesterday as the first contestants were unveiled in a house which has been given a futuristic makeover.
Californian Playboy bunny Kimberly Kisselovich, 23, who lives in London, heated up the show by warning: “I’ve always felt very comfortable being naked.”
She was joined by lingerie model Danielle McMahon, 25, who says she is a prim and proper Catholic virgin.
High-powered executive head-hunter Tamara Stewart-Wood, 24, from north London, admits she has a thirst for cash. “I want to be a very rich woman,” she said, before going into the house.
Journalist Christopher Hall, 23, from Enniskillen, Northern Ireland, wants to find his Mr Right, saying he is hoping for a “cheeky fumble”.
Meanwhile, muscle-bound Essex hunk Winston Showan, 27, is looking for the girl of his dreams. Millionaire Steve Goode, 23, from Hertfordshire, says he loves older women – and admires Ukip leader Nigel Farage.
The others are Matthew Davies, 23, a marketing executive from north London, single mum Pauline Bennett, 49, who rapped on Kylie Minogue’s single Shocked as Jazzy P, and Mark Byron, 24, from Crosby, Merseyside, who spends £200 a week on grooming and is looking for a guy to make him laugh. Another six housemates will enter the house tonight.
Last night viewers voted to send Pauline on a “power trip” in which she had to reward one housemate and punish another. She chose Mark and Matthew, who were locked in two glass boxes. While Mark was showered with £5,000 in cash, Matthew will be held in his box “until further notice”.
Big Brother: Power Trip Live Launch is presented by Emma Willis and is on Channel 5 tonight at 9pm.
