Amanda Owen has taken to social media for the first time since her new show was announced. The Yorkshire Shepherdess is taking on another challenge as her family embarks on a new series, Our Farm Next Door.

The upcoming 10-episode series will chronicle the adventures of Amanda, 50, alongside her ex-husband Clive Owen and their nine children as they tackle the formidable project of reviving a dilapidated farmhouse.

Fans will get an insight into what the family have been up to since their previous series, Our Yorkshire Farm, concluded in 2022. Following two years off screens, Amanda and Clive's children have drastically changed, as shown by a recent image shared by the shepherdess on Instagram.

In the photo, Amanda can be seen riding a horse next to two of her daughters. While Amanda's eldest daughter Raven was tagged in the snap, a debate began in the comments about which sibling is riding next to them.

One wrote: "Need a caption, can’t tell who’s who, all grown up now!" Another replied: "Amanda, Raven and Violet I think," as a third added: "I was gonna go Clementine or Nancy!"

Someone else declared: "I recognise Raven but the other girls are so grown up now." Amanda and Clive share nine children; Raven, Reuben, Miles, Edith, Violet, Sidney, Annas, Clementine and Nancy.

In 2022, Amanda and Clive announced they were separating after 22 years of marriage which she admitted was a "release of pressure". Speaking about the split, Clive told Lorraine Kelly: I sadly made a right mess of things. I had a massive part to play in our relationship ending. A massive part to play. When all this was going on, here I am ranting and raving and drinking and carrying on."

The former couple are now on good terms as they co-parent their nine children and will share the screen together once again. Speaking about the upcoming show, Amanda confessed the project has been challenging but is excited to share the process with viewers.

She said:"It is fantastic More4 have given us the opportunity to showcase what we do best, working as a team and battling the elements whilst trying to reinstate the farm next door to its former glory.

"It is no exaggeration to say that filming outdoors on an exposed hill end in Swaledale was at times a huge challenge for the Wise Owl film crew, but their dedication and enthusiasm has never waned.

"This new project has been a huge undertaking for the whole family and one we are excited to be able to share with the viewers at home.”
