Peaches Geldof was planning to move Down Under for Australia's Next Top Model
PEACHES Geldof was planning to relocate to Australia for three months before her sudden death, it's been reported.
The 25-year-old model, who died on April 7, was looking forward to moving Down Under with her family in order to take part in the new series of 'Australia's Next Top Model'.
Pecahes expressed her delight at the thought of moving to the other side of the world during one of her last interviews.
"I can't say what it is yet, but I'll be there for three months," the star told Aga Living Magazine during an interview conducted in January.
Peaches was one of a number of names suggested but we took the decision that it was too soon to make any calls
"The babies will come with me because obviously I wouldn't leave them for that long," she added of her sons Astala, two, and 11-month-old Phaedra.
Plans for the ninth season of the reality TV show were delayed after former judge Charlotte Dawson committed suicide in February after a long battle with depression.
Brian Walsh, Foxtel's director of television, has confirmed that plans for Peaches to join the modeling reality show were at an "initial stage".
"Peaches was one of a number of names suggested but we took the decision that it was too soon to make any calls," he told the Sydney Morning Herald. "The idea was not progressed beyond an initial stage."
Sadly though, Peaches was found dead at her home in Kent, South East England earlier this month, with her death being treated as "unexpected and sudden".
Police are awaiting the results of toxicology reports in an effort to determine the cause of death.
