Fashion faux pas! Dame Helen Mirren wears the same dress twice in one week
DAME Helen Mirren is clearly a fan of her black, green and white floral dress as she's worn it out twice in the past four days,
The 67-year-old star first modelled the pretty garment at the Jameson Empire Awards on Sunday evening, and then decided to wear it again to the Prince's Trust Awards yesterday.
Clearly, the long-sleeved frock is a wardrobe favourite of Mirren's and it's understandable why, as it looks great on the red carpet.
As she posed for photos outside the Odeon in London's Leicester Square yesterday, the Hollywood star had teamed the knee-length garment with strands of pearls, nude high heels and a matching clutch bag as she prepared herself for a meet and greet with Prince Charles.
However, at the weekend she paired it with thick black tights, matching heels and a cardigan - but it wasn't enough to disguise her fashion faux pas.
But Mirren wasn't bothered about her fashion fail, especially as it’s just been revealed that she has been nominated for a prestigious Olivier Award.
Mirren will go up against the likes of Kristin Scott Thomas and Billie Piper in the Best Actress category, and will be hoping to win the award for her second portrayal of her Majesty the Queen in the hit play ‘The Audience.’
