Alison Hammond has hit-back at "sizeist" critics as she revealed she has nude photos of herself scattered across her house.

The beloved Great British Bake Off star says she is "happy" with her "big chubby" figure, declaring her indifference to public opinion.

The TV presenter left This Morning co-host Dermot O'Leary red-faced in July when she confessed to having the pictures around her home. She revealed: "I've got naked pictures everywhere all over my house."

She further asserted that she sees "nothing wrong with it". Her remarks quickly went viral, which is not unusual for Alison, known for her on-air blunders such as getting snagged on a door handle or accidentally pushing a colleague into Liverpool's Albert Dock.

While her personality is often celebrated, it also makes her a target for online abuse. In a discussion with The Observer Magazine about whether the backlash she faces is "racist or sexist", Alison added: "Or sizeist. Ultimately I don't care what people think. That sounds like it doesn't bother me. It does."

She continued, emphasizing self-acceptance: "But I think I'm good enough and it's me I want to impress. Most people who criticise others don't love themselves," reports Birmingham Live.

Alison concluded with a positive affirmation of her identity: "I mean, I'm happy plodding along in my beautiful black skin in my big chubby body."

The TV star, who first graced our screens in 2002 as a lively Big Brother contestant, quickly became a fan favourite and segued into a role as a celebrity interviewer on This Morning.

In her typical humorous style, she once kicked off an interview with Hollywood icon Denzel Washington by jesting: "Badass, vigilante, big, black, beautiful scary, but that's enough about me babes."

It left the Hollywood A-lister seem immediately disarmed. Alison has since become an even bigger personality after she began presenting the hugely successful Great British Bake Off last year, taking over from Matt Lucas.

Since stepping into the spotlight, Alison has experienced a profound transformation, shedding an awe-inspiring 11 stone. She opened up about her tipping point for weight loss during an appearance on This Morning, where she revealed that she used to purchase a second airplane seat just to avoid discomfort—for herself and others.

The TV personality admitted: "I was nearly 28 stone I'll be honest with you and that is morbidly obese. And I used to buy an extra seat because I didn't want to put anyone in a situation where I was touching them."

Recalling the humiliation of a particular incident, Alison said: "I was made to feel uncomfortable on one occasion when I was so close to someone's seat and they asked to move but they ended up moving me into first class.

"It was embarrassing the whole thing and from that moment I just started buying two seats. I don't do it anymore because I've lost a bit of timber but not everyone can afford to do that."
