David Beckham announces new Netflix documentary about wife Victoria

David Beckham has expressed immense enthusiasm for a forthcoming Netflix series produced by his studio that will showcase the life of his wife Victoria.

The 49 year old football icon lauded Victoria, stating: "I'm really excited about this one with Victoria, because she is an amazing woman."

He went on to acknowledge her journey and accomplishments, remarking: "She is a strong, driven, passionate person that has gone from being a Spice Girl, as you all know, and to be respected in this industry is very tough."

Beckham highlighted the hard work behind her success, saying: "It's very tough, and she's worked hard for the last 17, 18 years on her business, and all of a sudden she's having the success that she really deserves, and no one really sees what she does."

He shed light on Victoria's meticulous approach to her business, revealing: "No one really sees the amount of work that she puts in, she's over everything from where people sit at the show to what they wear, to everything that goes into her business."

He continued, expressing his desire for the public to understand the extent of her involvement: "She's over every single piece, and I want people to see that."

Beckham shared the challenges he faced in convincing Victoria to participate in the series, explaining: "It was hard to convince her to do this, but I think she'd been such a big part of the process with Netflix, and she was like, I love these people, and I love the way they work, and if we can work in this way, and we can do this, so it's an exciting time."

In anticipation of the series, he concluded: "I think she's going to do something that's very special, and people are going to see her personality and just her work ethic."

Victoria Beckham first gained fame as Posh Spice in the iconic girl band Spice Girls and moved on to a solo music career in the 2000s before creating her eponymous fashion label, which has since achieved significant acclaim.

The power couple, who exchanged vows in 1999, have been the talk of the town since their Netflix documentary 'Beckham' became a sensation. In one unforgettable moment, David can be seen cutting off Victoria as she speaks about her childhood, insisting she "be honest" and admit that her father was the owner of a Rolls-Royce.

David Beckham, the ex-England captain and proprietor of MLS team Inter Miami, has divulged his foray into documentary filmmaking with Studio 99. He expressed that it was an ambition he harboured even during his football career and one that he relished pursuing after retiring from the sport.

He disclosed: "When I retired, which is 11 years ago, from playing I made two documentaries and it was Into The Unknown, For The Love Of The Game.

"And I love the process, so setting up the studio was something I always had in mind."

Studio 99, the brainchild of Beckham, has produced several acclaimed documentaries including 99, chronicling Manchester United's historic treble season, Beckham, a self-titled feature, and Ronnie O'Sullivan The Edge Of Everything.
