JB Gill on which Strictly judge he fears the most

Strictly Come Dancing has finally returned to BBC to celebrate its 20th anniversary and ahead of its comeback, celebrity contestant JB Gill revealed which judge he is most afraid of.

The JLS star is among the 15 famous faces to swap singing for dancing in hopes of raising the coveted Glitterball trophy.

While it has yet to be unveiled which professional dancer the 37-year-old has been paired with, he has shared his anticipation about the competition.

And JB also opened up about his fears to former Strictly star Fluer East.

During his appearance on her Hits Radio Show, the It Takes Two co-host asked the singer, which judge he “fears the most.”

Alongside judges, Shirley Ballas, Anton Du Beke, Motsi Mabuse and Craig Revel Horwood making a comeback, Tess Daly and Claudia Winkleman will also return as presenters.

During his radio appearance, JB shocked Fleur as he confessed: “I fear Craig the most,” before quickly backtracking on his statement.

He continued: “It’s probably Shirley, because I feel like Craig and Shirley they’re the ones who are going to pick up on all the technique.

“The first thing Shirley’s going to do is … and be looking at footwork.”

While Craig is known for his critical and stern feedback and Shirley is the head judge and has previously sparked backlash from fans for her “harsh” feedback.

Ahead of Strcitly’s return, JB revealed that he received some word of wisdom from his band member Aston Merrygold, who also featured on the show in 2017.

He told The Mirror: “I'm very used to singing and dancing with the boys but I don't have any of those. Aston said to just be myself.

“He's very familiar with how I approach any task I'm doing, he knows I work hard and I think that goes a long way but he's just said be myself and enjoy the moment.”
