Josie Gibson's This Morning future revealed as she breaks silence on move to Channel 5

Josie Gibson has shared details about what fans can expect from her brand new three-part travel series on Channel 5.
Away from her regular hosting duties on This Morning, the 39-year-old will go solo for the first time to dive into the world of first-class travel.

Filming for the series commences this week and Josie admits she is "so happy" to be on board. Addressing her future, she told Express.co.uk: "I've got loads of things in the pipeline, I'm still very involved with This Morning, I'm very grateful for This Morning and everything they've helped me with because they grew me as a presenter.

"I should be around at Christmas on the [This Morning] sofa, so then I will get back on the road and try to make it all work as much as I can." On her new travel show, due to hit screens next year, she added: "It is going to be amazing because I'm going to be exploring how the other half live, like the first class travel.

"You know when you walk through the airplane and you think, I wonder what is that way? I'm going to be seeing all the stuff that is the other way.

"I love that I can still experience things like that and it absolutely shocks me."

"It's a tough gig, but someone's got to do it," she joked. "I'm so happy that they've asked me, I'm really happy!

"We've got quite a few destinations to go to, so yeah we start filming this week."

Josie also discussed her busy life away from television, which includes being a mum to five-year-old son Reggie.

Josie's only child, who she shares with her ex Terry Bond, is known to fans through her Instagram and occasional television appearances.

On how she juggles being a mum with her work commitments, she shared: "Motherhood is the hardest job I've ever done," but had nothing but praise for Reggie's dad who is hands-on to help.

With her fame being at an all-time high however, Reggie isn't so keen on her being stopped in the street for a selfie from fans wanting to engage.

She added, laughing: "He's a funny little thing, he can't stand it when people ask for photos."

Demonstrating his reaction, she laughed: "He goes, 'Mum, you always stop and talk to everybody, it's doing my head in! We are going to be late. We are late for everywhere we've got to go to!'.

"Obviously it takes me a while to get there, [he goes] 'Mum, just don't stop and talk, I'm sick of the photos'. But, I like talking to people."

Josie has teamed with Boots to rally public support in donating dental hygiene products at The Hygiene Bank points located within the stores, to help the alarming issue of rising hygiene poverty in the UK.
