The announcement that Oasis is set to reunite for a series of concerts next year has sparked excitement among fans in Manchester and across the UK.

Noel and Liam Gallaher are reported to have finally ended their 15-year feud, with more details expected to be revealed at 8am tomorrow morning (Tuesday, August 27).

The Britpop icons are rumoured to be performing several shows at Heaton Park in Manchester and Wembley Stadium in London, and there's also talk of them headlining Glastonbury Festival in 2025. Industry insiders estimate that Oasis could rake in £50million from the reunion, which would be particularly beneficial for Liam Gallagher, whose net worth is significantly less than his brother Noel's.

According to celebritynetworth.com, Noel, 57, has an estimated net worth of £53million, while his younger brother Liam, 51, is thought to be worth just £6million.

Despite this substantial disparity, Noel's recent divorce from ex-wife Sara MacDonald may have impacted his net worth.

On the other hand, Liam was required to give half of his then £11m fortune to his ex-wife Nicole Appleton following their divorce proceedings in 2015. Noel once quipped, "I liked my mum until she gave birth to Liam".

However, a source close to the negotiations confirmed that the "reunion is definitely happening" after former Oasis guitarist Paul 'Bonehead' Arthurs and Liam's fiancee Debbie Gwyther helped the brothers reconcile, reports the Manchester Evening News.

In an explosive revelation, Liam Gallagher punched back at the narrative on Radio X, proclaiming, "I didn't leave Oasis, Noel Gallagher left Oasis."

He took a swipe at his brother's later musical direction, saying, "He couldn't handle the vibes anymore. He couldn't handle the rock 'n' roll. He was too scared of it. So now he's gone all cosmic pop and Leo Sayer."

The legendary band, which split back in 2009, sent fans into overdrive after both Gallagher brothers teased a surprise with identical posts on their X accounts (formerly Twitter), hinting at something massive with the cryptic message of '27.08. 24', swiftly followed by '8am'.
