Kelly Brook has been praised by her husband, Jeremy Parisi, for her "amazing body" despite the model claiming she's getting "bigger".

In a new interview with the Daily Mail's Weekend magazine, the actress and media personality, 44, who is best known for her modelling career and for starring in Hollywood films like Piranha 3D and Ripper, opened up about body image.

She discussed getting older and suggested that the showbiz industry had evolved over the years. However, her Italian model husband, Jeremy Parisi, 38, was quick to jump to her defence.

Kelly said: "I’m getting older, bigger. Everything changes, but I do think the industry is kinder these days. I don’t think it’s fashionable to judge women in the same way."

Jeremy doesn't appear to agree with his glamorous wife, saying: "She has an amazing body."

Kelly and Jeremy got married during a lavish Italian ceremony in 2022 after a seven-year relationship and went on to enjoy a  "peaceful" life.

The model started dating Jeremy in 2014 after watching one of his Instagram videos, with the couple later tying the knot in Civitavecchia, accompanied by family and friends.

In February, Kelly revealed to Express.co.uk that she had been targeted by trolls for her fluctuating weight. However, the actress said social media was "great", as it allowed her to "answer back" publicly.

She explained at the time: "You can just answer back, you can get that engagement straight away and you can have a conversation with people [who are misinformed] and say, 'Actually, that's not the case.'"

Kelly also said she's endured cruel comments from photographers telling her to "breathe in" on the red carpet and others from online trolls.

She also opened up about the difficulties she faced when attempting to land acting roles after returning home to the UK.

Kelly, who has starred in the hit TV series Smallville and signed with Keira Knightley’s agency, faced a battle to secure acting gigs, except a part in ITV’s Midsomer Murders.

Speaking to the magazine, Kelly explained how she felt that classism had prevented her from achieving her dreams, as she believes she doesn’t “have the right acting pedigree” to be cast in UK roles.
