Real reason Kyle Walker and Lauryn Goodman split before court showdown

Lauryn Goodman has come forward with the bombshell revelation that she was the one who called it quits with footballer Kyle Walker.

The distressed mother-of-two disclosed her sleepless nights following Walker's public confession about their covert affair, which he regretted.

This comes as the pair are coming face-to-face in a court battle in Holborn, London, as Goodman seeks support for looking after her two children with Walker.

The 33 year old social media personality and model expressed her anguish for her young son, who yearns to be with his father. She admitted to ending the relationship due to its 'toxic' nature, prioritising her children's well-being over her connection with Kyle.

Speaking to The Daily Mail, Lauryn opened up: "Nobody understands what it is like when a young boy points to a photo of his dad and just wants to see him. It breaks my heart. It was me who ended it with Kyle. If I'd wanted to, I could have continued to have a secret family together. But I couldn't deal with the toxicity any more, and I realised it wasn't good for my children."

She further lamented: "When will this end? I need this to end.", reports the Mirror.

The England ace Kyle Walker has shockingly confessed to making 'idiot choices' and betraying his wife Annie Kilner. The couple, who share three young children and are expecting another, have been rocked by Kyle's admission.

He also has two other children with Lauryn Goodman, conceived during a break in his relationship with Annie.

Walker's second child with Goodman, three year old Kairo, was born while he and Kilner had temporarily separated in 2019. Annie has since stated she needed time away from their relationship following Kyle's public apology.

In an interview with The Sun, Walker expressed mixed feelings about his secrecy: "I do and I don't regret it," admitting that while he regrets not informing Annie, as she deserved to know, he selfishly enjoyed the time spent with his kids.

Currently, Walker is reportedly residing alone in a plush £3million rented abode, following allegations that he forked out £2.5million on a lavish coastal home for his ex-girlfriend Lauryn.

A spokesperson for the couple addressed the ongoing drama at the time, saying: "Kyle and Annie are disappointed that Lauryn continues to seek publicity and financial gain by promoting false, defamatory, and intrusive media stories about them and their children. Apart from being factually inaccurate, these stories take no account of the best interests of the children involved. The matter is with their lawyers."
