Sam Taylor Johnson hits out at obsession with age romance with 'James Bond star'
After months of speculation as to who the next James Bond will be, many believe it's only a matter of time before Aaron Taylor-Johnson is announced as the next 007.
Sam Taylor-Johnson has hit back at fans and the "odd fascination" people have with her romance with husband, Aaron. The director and actor first met in 2009 and share a 23-year age gap between them.
While Aaron Taylor-Johnson is backed by many to become the next James Bond, his wife Sam has recently posted a loved-up snap of the pair on Instagram.
The 57-year-old recently shared a private insight into her relationship and uploaded a cosy photo of the couple as they partied at the iconic Glastonbury Festival over the weekend.
Sam boasted a khaki Marfa Stance padded jacket whilst her husband Aaron sported a denim jacket with a white T-shirt. Sam styled her hair in blonde pigtails and completed her look with collar drawstring sleeves.
Speaking about her age-gap, which has become a conversation for many over the years, Sam has slammed at the "odd fascination" that fans have.

She said on BBC Radio 4's This Cultural Life: "I guess that interest was more when we got together, which was now 14 years – at the beginning, was quite intense.
"And that sort of fascination, because he's younger than me, which you know, we couldn't really fathom the fascination. But I guess it's sort of gone away a little bit.
"Mostly when I'm doing press and things like this it sort of resurges a little bit. But yeah, I guess people want to understand things when they can't. They want to pick up art when they can't fathom what a certain love story that doesn't fit in a box is."

Sam is known for directing A Million Little Pieces (2018), Fifty Shades of Grey (2015), and the John Lennon biopic Nowhere Boy (2009) - which is where she met her now-husband.
Speaking about directing Aaron, she told Jonathan Ross: "It’s really interesting. When I directed Nowhere Boy, he wasn’t my husband. When I directed A Million Little Pieces he was."
Aaron and Sam tied the knot in 2012 and the couple share two daughters. Sam also had two other children from her previous marriage to art dealer Jay Jopling.
