McFly had to unexpectedly pause their incredible set at the Isle of Wight Festival amidst a wave of top artists like Green Day, Noahfinnce, Cian Durcot, and Nothing But Thieves. Over the joyous weekend stretch, festival-goers were treated to an auditory feast with The K's, The Prodigy, Pet Shop Boys, Jessie J, and Bradley Simpson delivering knockout performances.

Beneath the beaming sun, the McFly lads seemed poised to get the massive crowd hyped for a festival blowout. The high spirits took a comical twist when Danny Jones, 38, lost his place in their sizzling show, leading to chuckles across the fans as he exclaimed: "Oh s***."

The band, marking a staggering 21 years together, was in the middle of belting out fan-favourite when Danny brought the song to a halt after the final line "Never will be good enough for her and confessed, "Oh s***! I forgot to say when I do this we're going to hold it."

With the revelers basking in the scorching festival temperatures, Danny spurred the audience back into action, calling out: "Let me hear you one more time."

As the crowd erupted, McFly, comprising of Tom Fletcher, Dougie Poynter, and Harry Judd, dived back into the tune, sparking a rousing sing-along to cap off the tune.

The Isle of Wight festival, which began welcoming campers on Thursday, ramped up the excitement on Friday when top UK acts graced the main stage.

The Streets frontman Mike Skinner became one with the crowd during a thrilling performance. Known for 'Fit But You Know It,' Mike didn't hold back as he immersed himself in a sea of fans, crowd-surfing and engaging up-close in the pit.

His act included a nod to The Prodigy as he honoured them before they took over to mesmerize festival-goers, later lighting up the night as headliners.
