Alec Baldwin and his wife Hilaria have come under fire from fans after posting a Father's Day tribute on Instagram, which included a photo of their 10-year-old daughter Carmen wearing makeup.
The Hollywood actor celebrated the occasion by sharing a montage of his children on social media.
Alongside Carmen, Alec is father to Rafael, eight, Leonardo, seven, Romeo, six, Eduardo, three, Lucia, three, and one-year-old Ilaria with spouse Hilaria, whom he wed in 2012.
Additionally, Alec has a 28-year-old daughter, Ireland, from his previous marriage to Kim Basinger.
His post was captioned: "Happy Father's Day to the dads out there."
However, it was the second snap, showing Carmen cradling a younger sibling with mascara and lip gloss applied, that sparked controversy.

Alec Baldwin later took to social media to share his gratitude for Father's Day wishes alongside a photo of his daughter Ireland with her partner RAC (Andre Allen Anjos) and their little girl Holland, penning: "Thank you to this group for the lovely Father's Day wishes. Love you all."
Ireland joined in the Father's Day celebrations by sharing a screenshot of her FaceTime call with Alec, captioning it "Happy Father's Day @alecbaldwininsta."
Hilaria also honoured her husband's role as a father with an Instagram post showing their children interrupting Alec's nap, writing: "Happy Father's Day!!!
