Ahead of the imminent release of a new book about the couple, Victoria Beckham has posted a gushing tribute for her husband David Beckham to mark the occasion of Father's Day. The 50-year-old took to her Instagram on Sunday (June 16) to post a heartfelt tribute to her other half as she shared a series of pictures of David, 49, with their four children, Brooklyn, Romeo, Cruz and Harper.

She penned: "Happy Father's Day to the best daddy! We all love you so much! You are our everything. So many kisses @davidbeckham @brooklynpeltzbeckham @romeobeckham @cruzbeckham #harperseven."

The Spice Girl star also took to her stories to wish her husband as she shared a picture of him wearing a cowboy hat and wrote: "Happy Father's Day cowboy @davidbeckham."

Victoria's post comes as an explosive new book titled The House Of Beckham, written by author Tom Bower, is about to be released. According to Tom, their relationship was once so on the rocks, they lived separate lives and had minimal communication.

He claims the pair's marriage became "a distant business relationship" around eight years ago and claims their respective PR teams were "fed negative stories" about each other. Tom also claims that David even accused his wife and her publicist of "waging a media war" against him.

Despite these apparent challenges, the pair reportedly remained united for their brand, especially after surviving the turmoil caused by Rebecca Loos' alleged affair allegations.

The couple briefly touched upon their hard times in David's self-titled Netflix documentary, in which Victoria bravely opened up.

She told viewers: "Up until Madrid sometimes it felt like us against everybody else but we were together, we were connected, we had each other.

"But when we were in Spain, it didn't really feel like we had each other either.

"And that's sad. I can't even begin to tell you how hard it was and how it affected me. It was a nightmare."

According to Bower, serious rifts began to emerge in 2016 when the pair spent significant time apart, with David in Miami and Victoria in London.

Two years into dating one another, the two tied the knot at a lavish ceremony in London back in 1999.

Shortly after, they welcomed their first child into the world, a son named Brooklyn, who is now 25 and married to his model wife Nicola Peltz.
